Passionate and Experienced Routesetter

We’re seeking a routesetter with at least two years of commercial setting experience to join our talented team. We’re looking for someone passionate and determined to create high-quality boulders that offer an exceptional experience for our climbers.

We’re looking for a candidate who embodies the following qualities:

• Excellence and Attention to Detail: Meeting Beta Bloc’s standards for quality and aesthetics.
• Openness to Constructive Feedback: Giving and receiving feedback to perfect every boulder.
• Empathy and Curiosity: Interested in understanding our clientele to tailor boulders to their needs.
• Team Spirit: Strong communication skills, proactivity, and collaboration to achieve the best outcomes.
• Autonomy and Discipline: Working effectively alone or as part of a team.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in testing, evaluating, and adjusting boulders across various styles and grades.

Main Responsibilities

• Creating engaging boulders that meet Beta Bloc’s difficulty and aesthetic standards.
• Participating in testing and adjusting boulders to ensure they are accessible and of high quality.
• Maintaining a safe working environment.
• Collaborating on gym events and contributing to building our climbing community.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of commercial setting experience.
• Climbing proficiency: ability to climb, test and adjust boulders up to V7 or equivalent.
• Passion for setting and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Availability: 3 days a week while being flexible to accommodate the gym’s needs (schedule may vary based on events).
